Goochland Elementary School PTA$$ OPERATION FREE MONEY $$
We are hoping to increase our ability to earn money or points for things for the school using “other people’s money!” We have identified several ways that this can be accomplished, detailed below.
1. Box Tops for Education10/31/08 submission = $581.50.
12/31/08 submission = $213.00.
2/28/09 submission = $161.50.

Our next batch will be submitted before the end of the school year. Please continue to save and send them in! Consider using the convenient collection sheets from their website or I have some printed out and left by the collection box at school.

SPECIAL NOTE: Food Lion runs frequent specials where if you buy a certain number of participating General Mills products using your MVP card in a single visit, and you will receive a certificate for bonus box tops.Check here for their latest box tops promotions.
CLIP
$ Cut out the popular “box tops” logo from participating products. Click here for a list of every product that has a box top logo for redemption.$ Note that box tops are generally worth 10 cents, but there are super box tops and bonus certificates available. All must be separated when turned in.
$ Once you have 50 regular box tops or 50 super box tops, put them in a Ziploc bag noting that it contains 50 of them, and have your child place them in the collection box in the school cafeteria. This makes our counting and sorting job much easier.
$ Bonus certificates can be submitted in any quantity, and placed in the collection box in the school cafeteria.
$ NOTE: box tops expire so please be sure to check the expiration date and only submit those that are still valid. Many expire on 6/30/09 so please get them into the school before the summer break.
$ COLLECTION SHEETS: The box tops website provides a number of different collection sheets that you can print out and use to glue or tape your box tops to.

SIGN UP ONLINE
$ Sign up at the Box Tops website (btfe.com) to support our school and see where to shop at over 70 retail stores who help support us!
When you sign up to receive their newsletter or just go check the site from time to time, you will see the various monthly sweepstakes for bonus points.
REWARD: Box Tops will issue a check to the PTA to be used for anything we deem necessary.
2. Campbell’s Labels for Education$ Cut out the UPC along with the Labels for Education logo on participating products. Click here for a list of products. Campbell’s also has some items in jars where the “label” is printed on the cap.
$ Sort labels by type: 1 point label products, 5 point label products, 1 point caps, 5 point caps, bonus certificates, and bonus product labels.
$ Items can be submitted in any quantity in Ziploc bags, but must be labeled with the quantity, and type of label, cap, certificate, etc. it contains. Your child can then deposit them into the receptacle bin located in the school cafeteria.
REWARD: Campbell’s awards points to the PTA to be used to make purchases from its product catalog. Teachers will be able to select items they need for their classrooms and get them for free.
3. Tyson Foods $ Cut out the entire top section of frozen food bags, and the entire side of frozen food boxes. Note that just the little black A+ is not sufficient.
$ Items can be submitted in any quantity in Ziploc bags, but must be labeled with the quantity it contains. Your child can then deposit them into the receptacle bin located in the school cafeteria.
REWARD: Tyson’s offers 24 cents for every label submitted. They will issue the PTA a check to be used for anything we deem necessary.
4. Food Lion MVP Card$ We have recently registered Goochland Elementary School as an eligible recipient of the Food Lion Shop & Share Program.
Simply go online to the Food Lion website and register your MVP card to benefit Goochland Elementary School or select link below that will take you directly there. Note that friends, relatives and neighbors can also register their cards to benefit our school. YOU can do it for them. Just get their full account# from the back of the card and go to the website sign up on-line now:

5. Ukrops’s Golden Gift
$ Similar to Food Lion, after you accumulate your Golden Gift Certificate through Ukrop’s in the Spring, you can submit them for the benefit of Goochland Elementary School. Additional information will be communicated closer to the redemption time.
6. Kroger$ You can register your Kroger customer card on the following website and they electronically collect the Campbell’s Labels for Education for you.
Just like the physical labels collected, we will get points to be redeemed for merchandise. And, you can also submit the actual labels for redemption too.Click here to sign up on-line now:

7. Target
$ If you have a Target Red Card (their store credit card), you can designate Goochland Elementary School as a recipient of the money earned on your purchases. Our school ID is 103860 or you can look it up by name.Click here to sign up on-line now:
