2009 Operation Free Money Projects - Please support us-We need YOU!

Goochland Elementary School’s PTA takes part in many activities that earn money to support our programs for the school or get supplies without spending money. We cannot do it without YOU. This list briefly describes the many different ways that you can help. Just by saving box tops, Campbell labels and linking some of your store cards, YOU are contributing FREE MONEY. Please consider getting family, friends and neighbors to help too.

Box Tops for Education http://www.boxtops4education.com/

Checks for the 2008-09 school year totaled $957! So far, we have submitted enough for the 2009-10 school year to get a check for $436! All box tops turned in by Feb.15 will add to this year’s earnings.
$ Cut out the “box tops” logo from participating products. If you can bring them to school in bags of 50 or on collection sheets of 10, 25 or 50, it’s a big help. Also, please watch the expiration dates.
$ SIGN UP ONLINE at the Box Tops website to receive their newsletter to support our school & we get points.

Campbell’s - Labels for Education http://www.labelsforeducation.com/

$ Cut out the UPC and the Labels for Education logo. They NO LONGER accept just the front part of the label. Check their website for a list of products, including Pepperidge Farm. Use collection sheets if you wish. Campbell’s awards points so the school can select free items from their product catalog.

Tyson Foods – Project A+
http://www.tyson.com/projectaplus/

$ Cut out the entire top section of frozen food bags or the entire side of frozen food boxes. The little black A+ is not sufficient. Tyson’s offers 24 cents for every label.

Link your store cards to GES on-line. If you do not have Internet access, send your information into the school and leave in the collection boxes in the cafeteria. One of us will be happy to set them all up for you. These are great opportunities for us and SO EASY!! You may need to re-register every year so if you signed up last year, check again this year.

Food Lion – Shop and Share Program http://www.lionshopandshare.com/

$ Register your Food Lion MVP card in their Shop and Share program and each time you shop at Food Lion and use your MVP card, a portion of your entire purchase is donated to the school!

Kroger – elabels for Education http://www.elabelsforeducation.com

$ Register your Kroger Plus card on this website and they keep track of all Campbell products that you buy and give points for them in addition to the points when you turn in the UPC. That’s double points!

Kroger – Plus Card for Education http://plus.aftskroger.com/

$ Register your Kroger Plus card on this website. It’s just like the Food Lion except we get points, not cash.

Target – Take Charge of Education Program http://www.target.com/tcoe

$ If you have a Target credit card, you can select Goochland Elementary as a recipient of the money earned on your purchases. Our school ID is 103860 or you can look it up by name

Ukrop’s - Golden Gift
http://www.ukrops.com/community/goldengift.asp
$ Ukrop’s tracks purchases through your store card in the Spring and mails Golden Gift certificates out in May. Please donate yours to GES this year. Deadline is beginning of June. In 2009, we earned $105!

** 2 New Programs This Year ! **
AmeriGas - School Days Receipt $ Save your AmeriGas propane receipts and try to collect from local businesses and households. We send them in at the end of school year and get ½ cent per gallon.

Subway – School Rewards
http://www.subwaykids.com/grownups/classroom/ssr.aspx

$
When you make a purchase using a SUBWAY Card linked to our school, we earn a portion of it. We have cards available upon request and you can load them on-line or at the store. Great gift idea!
